Day Dream Dance by The Line Divides - Music Video

The Line Divides is a Cebu based band. They do go to Manila for scheduled gigs.
The band is composed of:

Working with the group on this video was an experience. They were 5 in their band, we were 5 in our crew during the shoot. We had 3 locations with considerably elaborate lighting set ups. We "winged" one set up in one of the locations. We shot for a little over 13 hours.

Hassles:
- going up I think 6 floors equipment and all without an elevator
- drizzle
- melted royal chord (hush)

fun stuff:
- meeting the band
- sweating it out with the crew
- getting that 5 minute window of "strobist"-like exposure i thought we were not going to be able to get because the 1ks were still too weak

Thanks to everyone involved.

This project took us 3 days to shoot and weeks of post production. We could have shot it in two days but we wanted to spread out the load because we were shooting several characters, a dog and a kid. Plus we allotted time in between takes because we were shooting exterior and we had no control over clouds that passed bye. The shoot went pretty smoothly except for the accident where a hurrying cab ran over one of the high-high rollers.(which costs a lot)

Alexia

Before I left Cebu for for Manila, I was able to work with Alexia for a few hours.

The lighting setup consisted of 3 Canon flashguns. 580ex, 580ex II and 430ex. They operated at manual using radio triggers.
